DIY: Face Masks for Foodies


Banana Bread and a Choco-Strawberry Smoothie for your face?! A little while ago I met Michelle from the popular Dutch foodblog called Studentenvoer (translated: Studentfood), where she posts healthy and delicious recipes. In this video I will show you how to make Face Masks with ingredients from her Banana Bread and Choco-Strawberry Smoothie recipe. One of them is even a great dupe for LUSH's Oatfix mask. Banana Bread

3 ripe bananas
2 dates
3 eggs
150 gram almond flour
1 tbsp agave syrup
1 tbsp coconut oil
150 gram walnuts
1,5 tsp baking soda
1,5 tsp vanilla flavor
pinch of salt

Pre-heat oven at 350 degrees. Put the bananas, dates, agave syrup and coconot oil in a mixer and blend. Beat the eggs in another bowl with the salt. Mix the banana puree with the eggs. Blend in the almond flour and the baking soda. Make sure that the mixture is smooth. Grease a baking tin with coconut oil and pour in the mixture. Bake for 40-45 minutes.

Choco-Strawberry Smoothie (2 glasses)
 
2 cups of yoghurt
6 strawberries
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder (or cacao)
1/2 cup ground oatmeal
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp cacoa nibs (if you like)
 
Blend it!! Done!!
