<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfwJ76iJesTuzdlIfkUNhe14fskIiNmFg2bapd54DRm8FKSq5MbKS4d6nuGOlXWR7iC0sAsM_dbVgiIm72m0dIyVM7OjwAaod5oL5LJyjbiK9dbe6khxCFxbIV1aCe_hwey4l-aSEqq8g/s1600/Ritualssfsdfd.jpg" height="468" style="color: #0000ee; font-family: Times; text-align: center; text-decoration: underline;" width="640" /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">It's winter time and that means dry, cracked and painful hands for many of us, including me. It usually takes me ages to find a hand cream that is not too greasy or too thin, which means that over the years I have build up a few favorites and dislikes. This time, I tried out the Ginseng & Ginko Biloba Miracle Scrub and the Ginseng & Ginkgo Biloba Ginkgo's Secret hand balm from Rituals. </span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I usually love Rituals, so I was very curious about these two. </span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Do I add these to my favorites or not?</span><br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>What's the verdict?</b></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<strong><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The scrub</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I had never tried a hand scrub before, but always wanted to. This hand scrub is supposed to be <i>ultra softening</i>. You apply a bit to dry hands, rub it in your palms and then spread it all over your hands (don't add water). Rinse it off and that's it! The scrub is really soft and leaves a bit of a moisturizing layer, even after rinsing. The scent is just amazing!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihs5mVbjy4bB91ObjS1d65rQ97-qRkCStd2MJCxhY1lwj0S4yVdIBaaCl6Dw5SIgyNB7hd6-gSJiJANtW0P3Bi85ElAOOnf_oNVB91lZmMqkLQTqAuNjZxUqLDc1ZT7geBC5nIBuRfUvA/s1600/handscrub.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihs5mVbjy4bB91ObjS1d65rQ97-qRkCStd2MJCxhY1lwj0S4yVdIBaaCl6Dw5SIgyNB7hd6-gSJiJANtW0P3Bi85ElAOOnf_oNVB91lZmMqkLQTqAuNjZxUqLDc1ZT7geBC5nIBuRfUvA/s1600/handscrub.jpg" height="320" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<strong><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The hand balm</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I love the consistency of this hand balm. You only need a little bit for both your hands. </span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The balm is thick but easy to spread. It leaves a little (non-greasy) layer on your hands that feels almost like a serum or primer. Again, the scent is just amazing. It is safe to say that this is my new favorite hand cream!</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhKdtp3BgAaiqEruj95lhWbnp4yWtbdFAUpPE0uPvi6IW-s_SvTQPIAvZEYRGCdSYkL3wHZUEr7AM9hQhnFXoiczJc9MvqL4ZqSkPVeduJE837hgEOICIMk2a8vVUDi3uFZE2z4nZXRLU/s1600/IMG_8170.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhKdtp3BgAaiqEruj95lhWbnp4yWtbdFAUpPE0uPvi6IW-s_SvTQPIAvZEYRGCdSYkL3wHZUEr7AM9hQhnFXoiczJc9MvqL4ZqSkPVeduJE837hgEOICIMk2a8vVUDi3uFZE2z4nZXRLU/s1600/IMG_8170.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>

<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><b>Like</b></span><br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The scent: I would describe it as fresh and green (I know that's not a scent but that's what comes to mind when I smell this)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The consistency: almost like a serum or primer</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The feel: they both leave your hand so SOFT</span></li>
</ul>
<b style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="color: #ea9999; font-size: large;">Don't like</span></b><br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The price: both the scrub and balm are a bit pricy as it is not your average drugstore hand cream. For the both of them together you would pay about 22 euros (<i>thankfully my dad gave them to me</i>). However, as I said, you only need a little bit of both products, so I expect them to last long.</span></li>
</ul>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDb-5KNm2oRv12_M1A0Cq8H5loorGzUAX3C4quOw_hJqbgvp2RIKxmOV0VWRpf3oJGSHYugSFt1H31nfFmRnbRDnIKLiL55XdtW-KYEQyBKY6pIvJwbGblI8vzYvbDxgOC4vW1W4zQ-1g/s1600/INSTIMG_8021.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDb-5KNm2oRv12_M1A0Cq8H5loorGzUAX3C4quOw_hJqbgvp2RIKxmOV0VWRpf3oJGSHYugSFt1H31nfFmRnbRDnIKLiL55XdtW-KYEQyBKY6pIvJwbGblI8vzYvbDxgOC4vW1W4zQ-1g/s1600/INSTIMG_8021.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Overnight Oats</span></strong> are perfect for breakfast AND easy to make. You prepare them the night before and when you wake up they are ready to be eaten. I have two delicious recipes for you that are completely #eatclean and contain some superfoods: one with <span style="color: #ea9999;"><strong>Coconut, Chia Seeds</strong></span> & <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Cacao</span></strong> and one with <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Banana, Almond (butter)</span></strong> & <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Linseed</span></strong>. Very healthy, good carbs and no hassle!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"></span><br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day and oats are the perfect breakfast food, because they contain good carbs that give you an energyboost and thus get you kickstarted for the day </span><span style="font-family: Verdana;">fr</span><span style="font-family: Verdana;">om the moment you put them in your mouth. If you prepare oats with almond milk (or any other kind of milk), put them in a jar and leave them overnight, they will have soaked up all the fluids in the morning. Therefore, you don't have to cook your oats or go through any other hassle, </span><span style="font-family: Verdana;">which is great if you're not a morning person, like me. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjj6qYnqyQz2E7otUY5zXCgmGPf6UQfMFIrWGbYM30gPHAiNccqpCui_1STH4FxwgJOTQv1PQj2gqPEAjWlG-73kK9wDOVoW8h13h8doyt4JY2ZWRWE21N9i-eIZ3eH6XcCbh5ud46F9Tc/s1600/IMG_8003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjj6qYnqyQz2E7otUY5zXCgmGPf6UQfMFIrWGbYM30gPHAiNccqpCui_1STH4FxwgJOTQv1PQj2gqPEAjWlG-73kK9wDOVoW8h13h8doyt4JY2ZWRWE21N9i-eIZ3eH6XcCbh5ud46F9Tc/s1600/IMG_8003.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The base of all recipes is oats, obviously. You can basically add anything you like to it! All ingredients I used can be considered as <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">#eatclean</span></strong>, which means that all ingredients are natural and contain no added sugars or artificial sweeteners. Besides that, </span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I've used superfoods, which are foods that (supposedly) have health benefits. As I worked in a health store for many years I know (literally almost) everyyyy thingggg about them.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I have used <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Chia seeds</span></strong>, which </span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">contains </span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">omega 3-6-9 </span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">(good fats) and are high in fiber and iron (will give you energy). Besides that I used <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Cacao nibs</span></strong>, which contain anti-oxidants (good for the skin). To make it smooth and creamy I used <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Almond butter</span></strong>, which contains good oils and carbs (energy). For the crunch,</span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"> I used <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Linseed</span></strong>, which contains omega's as well and will make you poop (<span style="font-size: x-small;">which is important too you know</span>). </span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">As a special ingredient I </span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">used <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">PB2</span></strong>, which is peanut powder. When you add water to it, it gets the </span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">consistency of peanut butter. However, you can also add the powder to smoothies, cakes, cookies </span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">etc. All of these ingredients are good for your health, but will</span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"> also help keep your skin, hair and nails in good condition. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"></span><br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidtj_LLzohDH7RpJLUjU8AmoKGPHv7gP0FwjKKZdvpLkMp5oi_G_gXFxWw8phqq5rxVZw0S3Vg1Y1D4ipyqu4cJPYdVEyHUl8IgYercJmOSGfMyGPp_rop_S9NgVMBDyhkHkAjcXzlzyA/s1600/IMG_7968.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidtj_LLzohDH7RpJLUjU8AmoKGPHv7gP0FwjKKZdvpLkMp5oi_G_gXFxWw8phqq5rxVZw0S3Vg1Y1D4ipyqu4cJPYdVEyHUl8IgYercJmOSGfMyGPp_rop_S9NgVMBDyhkHkAjcXzlzyA/s1600/IMG_7968.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><strong>The recipes</strong></span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<strong><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Coco, Chia & Cacao </span></strong></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">1/2 cup organic oats</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">1/2 cup almond milk</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">2 tbsp PB2</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">1 tbsp raw cacao nibs</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">1/2 tsp chia seeds</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">1 tsp shredded coconut</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">1 tsp toasted coconut</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<strong><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Banana, Almond & Linseed</span></strong></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">1/2 cup organic oats</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">1/2 cup almond milk</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">2 tbsp almond butter</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"> 1/2 fresh banana</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">1 tbsp almond flakes</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">1 tbsp whole almonds</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">You can add some honey, agave syrup or coconut sugar if you like it sweet.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJD-8XHj7M5JcRSkxEhYGWrX_rbsuid4rPJCIGTXpO8eZG7CXRLtrKEGdtEYwyvJmsaEYw0jtLYjx6HmNZbYI2WprrnIuziL0DLplAFrPyqUbZ9EmG3A_b3UHidLlgVLXD-_eebNikaXU/s1600/IMG_7843.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJD-8XHj7M5JcRSkxEhYGWrX_rbsuid4rPJCIGTXpO8eZG7CXRLtrKEGdtEYwyvJmsaEYw0jtLYjx6HmNZbYI2WprrnIuziL0DLplAFrPyqUbZ9EmG3A_b3UHidLlgVLXD-_eebNikaXU/s1600/IMG_7843.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Basically you just have to throw all the ingredients together in one jar (any jar will do). You don't have to follow the exact recipe, you can add anything you like, but just be careful not to use too much Chia Seeds or Linseed. If you have done all that, p</span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">ut the jars in the fridge and go to sleep! Take them out in the morning and <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">YUM</span></strong></span><br />

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I was looking for a book with beauty essentials.. one that I could consider a bit of a<strong><span style="color: #ea9999;"> Beauty Bible</span></strong>. <span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">YES! The motto of the book is: THE STRAIGHT-TALKING BEAUTY COMPANION. It is said to be <em>a handbook for real women on what works in real life</em>. A book that is honest about beauty and products. Sali praises products that actually work and bashes anything that does not. Some chapters are: <em></em></span><br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><em>Basic kit: the products you need now (and the stuff you don't) </em></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><em>How to look good in a picture </em></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><em>What men want </em></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><em>Beauty and motherhood</em></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><em>How to get botox</em></span></li>
</ul>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I have to say, <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">this is a keeper</span></strong>!! This is the kind of book that you can use when you're a teen, a business woman, a stay at home mom ... and also.. when you're ill. There is a full chapter on Beauty in Illnes. And that is why I think this book is great. It has something for everyone and is realistic about life at the same time. The writing style is <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">fun and informative</span></strong>. I am actually thinking of getting the paper version, because it is such a beautiful coffee table book (although I don't have a coffee table lol).</span><br />

<strong><span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Who is Sali Hughes?</span></strong><br />
<strong><span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana;"></span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Sali Hughes is a British make-up artist turned, that has written for ELLE, Grazia, Glamour, Cosmopolitan and other magazines. At the moment she is a beauty columnist for <a href="http://www.theguardian.com/fashion/series/sali-hughes-beauty">The Guardian</a> and has her own blog called <a href="http://www.salihughesbeauty.com/">Sali Hughes Beauty</a>. She has a specific honest writing style that also comes through in her book.</span><br />

<strong><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="color: #ea9999;">A Model Recommends</span> </span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">As I said, I learned about this book through the YouTube channel of Ruth Crilly, called <a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/AModelRecommends">A Model Recommends</a>. Ruth is an <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">international fashion model</span></strong> as you might have guessed. So if she recommends it, it must be good... is what I thought. She is hilarious, so go check out her YouTube channel or visit her blog: <a href="http://www.amodelrecommends.com/">A Model Recommends</a>. In the below video she talks a bit about Pretty Honest. </span><br />

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I feel a trend coming! When I was flying to Brisbane (Australia) last year, this small<strong><span style="color: #e06666;"> </span><span style="color: #ea9999;">red tube</span></strong> kept going around the airplane. One flight attendant put some on her lips, another one on her hands. I finally got a hold of it and was so surprised: Papaw? What the h*** is that? I went looking for the red tube when we arrived and brought home 2 tubes and a jar. Now that other brands have started duplicating this magical stuff, I decided to write about it: <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Lucas' Papaw Ointment.</span></strong></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong></strong></span><br />
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>What is it?</strong></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Nothing new! <a href="http://www.lucaspapaw.com.au/">Lucas' Papaw Ointment</a> has been around for over 100 years and is a holy grail for celebrities like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. The key ingredient in Lucas' Papaw Ointment is: <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Fermented Papayate</span></strong> - which is called Papaw of Pawpaw. It comes from a plant called <em>Carica Papaia. </em>Sooo.. it's basically fermented fruit. That sounds a bit gross and weird eh? Well, the smell is a bit weird, but the texture is just like vaseline and you can use it the same way.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcRQ0EgxKQ5pJ4jxvm1vzIRb9ulhEMFF0WChCsVu2DasNNPYr79fdj5_cACvhVjlOhzgfBKJbIVoXmOO_9E-UWDM1CMCPYsizrsvFyiWgk6QXjI7OhAt-Y9dvhtuiQGdoaoiN9CnEk2dM/s1600/PicMonkey+Collagesdfs.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcRQ0EgxKQ5pJ4jxvm1vzIRb9ulhEMFF0WChCsVu2DasNNPYr79fdj5_cACvhVjlOhzgfBKJbIVoXmOO_9E-UWDM1CMCPYsizrsvFyiWgk6QXjI7OhAt-Y9dvhtuiQGdoaoiN9CnEk2dM/s1600/PicMonkey+Collagesdfs.jpg" height="320" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"> </span><br />
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>If it's just like vaseline, why is it special?</strong></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The special thing about Papaw is that it supposedly <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">heals</span></strong> the skin. Dr. Lucas actually describes it as <em>the finest natural medicine yet discovered. </em>Just like it says on the jar, you can use it for basically anything. I like to use it at night when I have a lot of <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">break outs</span></strong> or really <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">dry skin</span></strong>. I just apply it to my whole face and sleep with it. In the morning: less redness and no more dry patches.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"> </span></div>
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>What do I think about it?</strong></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I use it everyday for my lips and it's definitely the first thing I grab when I have a cut or a pimple. It also lasts very long. As I said I purchased 2 small tubes and a jar and they are not even close to used up. If you have dry skin or really irritated skin (think acne, eczema etc) I suggest you give Lucas a try.</span><br />
<br />
<strong><span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Where can you buy this?</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">At the moment Papaw is really becoming a new trend and other brands that use Papaw are starting to emerge. This means that it is now also available outside of Australia, which is great. HOWEVER.. Lucas' Papaw Remedies has the <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">highest amount of Papaw</span></strong> in it (39mg), so if you want to try it for its healing powers, I suggest you go for Lucas'. I paid $5,99 for the 25g tube and $11,99 for the 75g jar (this is in Australian Dollars). </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">If you want to know more about the original Papaw Ointment, go </span><a href="http://www.lucaspapaw.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=8&Itemid=18" target="_blank"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">here</span></a><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">. <span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I've been baking for Christmas Eve! About two weeks ago I found a Gingerbread Man cookie cutter in a Dutch store, which is new, because the concept of a Gingerbread Man is not as well known here as it is in the US. So, I had never made these before and was so excited, especially for the decorating part. They go perfect with a nice <a href="http://www.learntheheartway.com/2014/12/diy-gingerbread-latte.html" target="_blank"><strong><span style="color: #e06666;">Gingerbread Latte</span></strong></a>! <div align="center">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I cheated by using a ready to use cookie mix, where I only had to add water and butter, but you can find any basic cookie recipe online. Now I added Gingerbread Spice to half of the regular mix and I left half without the spices (as some people don't like the spices). I used my hands to mix everything and get a dough. You should leave this in the fridge for at least an hour, before taking it out and using a cookie cutter. When you've done all of that, they should look something like the ones below. Bake them in a preheated oven for about 15 minutes at 300 degrees.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">It is easy to let the girl or guy behind the counter wrap your <strong>Christmas gifts </strong>when you buy them, but giving a gift becomes extra special when you wrap it yourself AND personalize it. Isn't it so much nicer when you see someone has actually put an effort in? I love <strong>wrapping </strong>gifts and </span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">will show you what you can do and need to up your <em>gift wrapping game</em> and personalize your Christmas gifts. </span><br />

<div align="left" style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Now, this is my absolute favorite, because it looks like it came from <strong>Chanel</strong>. The plain wrapping paper is perfect when you want to go crazy with ribbon and ornaments. I choose this black and white ribbon with a knitted white flower. Just wrap the ribbon around a few times and tape or tie it at the back. The best way to make the flower stick to the ribbon is by gluing it on.</span> </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigMCffrKT-x1XpIdvDNr4fUFrSmZ2CZdnJYV3mCHVmluoZXOqH3vMATCgG1ptORP1g907gGRfTFPf0-XhJmNjzgVA_clMffuK4AkPg3o75Ev1mZWz6xVdrIQF4PGDgaeC9PmIEYmaeJgo/s1600/IMG_6992sss.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigMCffrKT-x1XpIdvDNr4fUFrSmZ2CZdnJYV3mCHVmluoZXOqH3vMATCgG1ptORP1g907gGRfTFPf0-XhJmNjzgVA_clMffuK4AkPg3o75Ev1mZWz6xVdrIQF4PGDgaeC9PmIEYmaeJgo/s1600/IMG_6992sss.jpg" height="440" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Second</span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">, I chose a wrapping paper with a bit of a print and put a tag on it, which I stamped with the text Merry Christmas. The Stamp Set I used comes from a store named <span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace; font-size: large;"><strong><span style="font-size: small;">TYPO</span></strong><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">, which I wrote about in an article <a href="http://www.learntheheartway.com/2014/12/store-typo.html" target="_blank"><strong><span style="color: #e06666;">here</span></strong></a>.</span> </span></span> I used bakers twine and stickers to attach it to the package. Of course, you can write anything on the label, a poem, a personal message or a name.</span></div>
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1FCbpBwfD6-0Cp_YmGURuTRtEfuGBPJCcfAWDgX_8dPs01uATYFvWR0UQGddiqmOiCR_acZSO-2-fr3EZUOQTHBlUp2ok0UgROi2hyNl-EpJ3wk3j9FxDfHsCxArj5P9LDTjQZZfkDkw/s1600/sdlfj.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1FCbpBwfD6-0Cp_YmGURuTRtEfuGBPJCcfAWDgX_8dPs01uATYFvWR0UQGddiqmOiCR_acZSO-2-fr3EZUOQTHBlUp2ok0UgROi2hyNl-EpJ3wk3j9FxDfHsCxArj5P9LDTjQZZfkDkw/s1600/sdlfj.jpg" height="320" width="640" /></a><br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjwqQKw98D9wSr85-aJfa5_HubVJN9S1YmD2yvm-tdAn3o1L-SnxchzhGKwBz9niugoE7M3a0V-b9DjNfrRboG_nSYneJCTEn8GmZrudjdc0lS5sGclsaU_X-uXnq1kmBSuiHCc-Ti8HY/s1600/dsfs.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">You can also use the stamps on plain paper bags, as I did here, and then attach some simple ornaments. Here, I used bakers twine again, which I attached to the back. You can make this more colourful, by using different kinds of twine or using different coloured stickers.</span> </div>
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjwqQKw98D9wSr85-aJfa5_HubVJN9S1YmD2yvm-tdAn3o1L-SnxchzhGKwBz9niugoE7M3a0V-b9DjNfrRboG_nSYneJCTEn8GmZrudjdc0lS5sGclsaU_X-uXnq1kmBSuiHCc-Ti8HY/s1600/dsfs.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjwqQKw98D9wSr85-aJfa5_HubVJN9S1YmD2yvm-tdAn3o1L-SnxchzhGKwBz9niugoE7M3a0V-b9DjNfrRboG_nSYneJCTEn8GmZrudjdc0lS5sGclsaU_X-uXnq1kmBSuiHCc-Ti8HY/s1600/dsfs.jpg" height="440" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">The number one thing for me is <strong>RIBBON</strong>: how cute is the Christmas Tree ribbon?! Using different kinds of Ribbon just makes gifts look so special, like someone really cared enough to wrap a gift nicely haha. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">If you're in Holland you can order all of the above (except the gifts haha) from <a href="http://www.inpakken-en-uitdelen.com/" target="_blank"><strong><span style="color: #e06666;">Inpakken & Uitdelen</span></strong></a>, where they sell all kinds of packaging and DIY materials for a really good price! </span></div>

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">As a flight attendant I was very privileged to be able to walk into a lot of stores that I had never heard of before, <strong><span style="color: black; font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace; font-size: large;"><a href="http://cottonon.com/AU/shop-by-brand/typo/" target="_blank">Typo</a></span></strong> is one of them! I first saw this store when I was in Brisbane, Australia. The hotel we stayed in with the crew was just around the corner of a large shopping street & I just jumped for joy when I went inside <strong><span style="color: black; font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace; font-size: large;"><a href="http://cottonon.com/AU/shop-by-brand/typo/" target="_blank">Typo</a></span></strong>. If you like to craft or are looking for (wedding) gifts, stationery or decoration for your house.. this is the store for you. Honestly.. I even love to just browse their website. I will show you what I got from <strong><span style="color: black; font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace; font-size: large;">Typo</span></strong>!!</span><br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigBqX9PM8_Rxyr8Nvgjhe1ewlpdlMw11kasj2KKJLiC559dXk2oQsavYmmlKywMGxD4GXTZJ5vz5sDrVrmpJpzAGaE2pADtuHNuQ9dNk6HVl_nfd71iiRZEU3Egw9RnuGBHTtJZnkT2z0/s1600/IMG_6589.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigBqX9PM8_Rxyr8Nvgjhe1ewlpdlMw11kasj2KKJLiC559dXk2oQsavYmmlKywMGxD4GXTZJ5vz5sDrVrmpJpzAGaE2pADtuHNuQ9dNk6HVl_nfd71iiRZEU3Egw9RnuGBHTtJZnkT2z0/s1600/IMG_6589.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I have to admit that I bought all of these cuties with a <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">wedding</span></strong> in mind. I couldn't help but think of a wedding while standing in the store. Maybe you know the wedding blogs like <a href="http://www.stylemepretty.com/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #ea9999;"><strong>stylemepretty</strong></span></a> and <a href="http://aisleperfect.com/" target="_blank"><strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">aisleperfect</span></strong></a>?! If you don't, you should definitely take a look. I have been planning my wedding, since I am 12 or something (I'm not even kidding lol) and am obsessed with them! What did I get? And what do these have to do with a wedding?</span><br />
<br />

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<strong><span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace; font-size: large;">Lanterns</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">There is something about lanterns! If you visit the wedding blogs that I have mentioned you will see what I mean... they are EVERYWHERE! There's something romantic and festive about them and I want to use them for such an occasion, even though I don't even know when that is going to be. Am I the only one that does this girls?? </span><br />

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I love these kind of chalkboards, although I have no real use for them at this point. On wedding blogs you see these boards on the <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">bride and groom's</span></strong> chairs saying <em>Mr. & Mrs</em>. But, as I don't see myself getting married anytime soon, I imagine that they look really nice in the kitchen too lol. </span><br />

<span style="font-family: Verdana;">The good thing about <strong><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace; font-size: large;">Typo</span></strong> is that they have so many different kind of gifts for every type of person and for every mood you are in.</span> <span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Typo is part of the retail chain <em>Cotton On</em> and is present all over the world. <span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong><a href="http://www.thebeautybakery.nl/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #ea9999;">The Beauty Bakery</span></a></strong> is a Dutch webshop run by a very funny and beautiful Dutch girl called Angel Raterman. The Beauty Bakery makes their products by hand and uses natural ingredients like sheabutter and almond oil. If you go on their website you will be overwhelmed by all the Bath Cupcakes, Lollipop Soap and tons of Whipped Body Butter. </span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Besides this, the Beauty Bakery make great dupes of brands like LUSH and even Chanel. <span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Whipped Sugar Scrub</span></strong> in the scent <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Sweet Bakery</span></strong></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Description: <span style="color: black;"><em>You're walking through <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Paris</span></strong> and all of a sudden you see a fairytale <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">bakery</span></strong>. You're overwhelmed by </em></span><span style="color: black;"><em>the scent of freshly baked cupcakes, pies, sugarcookies, cheesecake, lemon meringue pie and petit fours </em>with Sheabutter, Cocaobutter and Almond Oil. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I think the description is the reason I ordered this scrub, because I love <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">foody scents</span></strong>! <span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">which is my favorite! It's the scent of Almond Icing and Marzipan. I have been using this cleanser for a few days. Now, I switched to only using it in the morning, when my make-up is already off, because it isn't able to get all my make-up off in the evening. <strong><span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana;"></span></strong><br />
<span style="color: black; font-family: Verdana;">Description: T<em>he magical, slightly sweet, mysterieus, Eastern scent of Jasmine </em>with Jasmine Oil and Macadamia Nut Oil. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">This facial cream is <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">whipped</span></strong>, so it has a really nice consistency. It's the kind of consistency you just want to put your whole hand in. The smell of the cream is really strong, which made me hesitant to put it on my face at first. However, I do like this cream as a night cream, because it seems very <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">nourishing</span></strong>. I alternate between this cream and another night cream. </span><br />

<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">SPOILER ALERT!!! It is here! In this post I will show you what is in the <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Beautybox</span></strong> of November. The Beautybox is a Dutch equal to <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Birchbox</span></strong> in the US and <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Lipsy</span></strong> in the UK. It's a box of beautyproducts that you subscribe to and receive every month. It usually contains one or more full size products and a number of sample sizes. This way you can try out many different products, including high-end products, for a nice price. </span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">What's in this month's Beautybox? And is it worth the money?</span><br />
<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>BOOM!</strong></span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Now, I like it when everything fits in perfectly. They did a good job this month! Looks good at first sight, although I see some products that I have used before.</span></div>

<br />
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>What's inside:</strong></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">1) <span style="color: black;">A sample (and mini bottle) of <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Thierry Mugler's Alien</span></strong> Eau de Parfum - The mini bottle of 6ml is empty. You have to take it to <a href="http://www.iciparisxl.nl/nl_NL/index.html?utm_nooverride=1&gclid=CPWSv9-Fo8ICFSoKwwod1SMAOw" target="_blank">Ici Paris</a>, a Dutch drugstore/pharmacy, to have it filled up for free. I</span></span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"> have used this perfume for a long time and loved it. However, I have used it so much that I'm somewhat over it. It is a very strong and heavy scent, so I don't think everyone will like this. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="color: black;">2) Deodorant by</span><span style="color: #ea9999;"> <strong>Rituals</strong> <span style="color: black;">in the scent </span><strong>Sakura Silk</strong></span> (Full size/€8)- It is a spray deodorant with the scent of Rice Milk and Cherry blossom. I usually don't use </span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">spray deodorants, because I always choke on them. This one is quite nice though.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="color: #ea9999;"><span style="color: black;">3) </span><strong>Beautyuk Eyebrow kit </strong></span>(Full size/€6) - I personally don't know this brand, so I'm excited to try this out. There's 3 different colors of brow powder and it also has tweezers and brow gel inside.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="color: #ea9999;"><span style="color: black;">4) Soap by </span><span style="color: #ea9999;"><strong>Sabon</strong></span><strong> </strong></span><span style="color: black;">in the scent Linen</span> (Full size/€5) - a handmade soap by Sabon is always nice. And because Sabon is celebrating its 10 year anniversary in Holland, there is a coupon for €5 euro added to the box. Nice!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">5) A <span style="color: black;">coupon for 20% off on <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Anastasia</span></strong> products</span> at <a href="http://greathairextensions.nl/">greathairextensions.nl</a></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">6) <span style="color: #ea9999;"><strong>Himalaya Herbal</strong> <span style="color: black;">samples</span> </span>- I used to sell the Himalaya products when I worked in a natural health store, so I know them well. Personally, I don't really like them, so I will be giving these samples away. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>Worth the money this month?</strong></span><br />
<span style="color: black; font-family: Verdana;">Yes! There are 3 full size products in this months box that add up to €19. As you pay €14,95 for the box, this is good value. However, I personally like it when there are a bit more high-end products in the box to try out. Most of the products this month are from brands I know, except for the brow powder. What I really don't like is that you have to go to the store to fill the little bottle of Thierry Mugler. They should have just filled it for us right??!!</span>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6440045652683795549.post-20510490444384188462014-11-29T12:18:00.000-08:002014-12-01T10:29:11.006-08:00Yankee Candle Christmas Collection<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">One of my favorite candle brands is <a href="http://www.yankeecandle.com/" target="_blank"><strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Yankee Candle</span></strong></a>, and every holiday they come up with a special range of candles, tarts, votives & tea lights. For Christmas they have come up with a few delicious scents like <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Snowflake Cookie</span></strong>, <span style="color: #ea9999;"><strong>Snow in Love</strong></span>, <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Christmas Rose</span></strong> & <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Candy Cane Lane</span></strong>. How cute are those names? I ordered some of them and will let you know which ones are my fave...</span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I love love love food scents, so most of the scents I ordered have some sort of food smell. I ordered 4 <span style="color: #ea9999;"><strong>Tarts Wax Melts </strong></span><span style="color: black;">in <span style="color: #f4cccc;"><strong>Snow in Love</strong></span>, <span style="color: #f4cccc;"><strong>Christmas Cookie</strong></span>, <strong><span style="color: #f4cccc;">Christmas Rose</span></strong> & <strong><span style="color: #f4cccc;">Candy Cane Lane</span></strong> </span><em>and</em> a <span style="color: #ea9999;"><strong>Jar Candle </strong></span><span style="color: black;">in </span><strong><span style="color: #f4cccc;">Snowflake Cookie</span></strong>. The tarts are much cheaper ($1,99) than the jar candles ($10,99 for the small size), which is great, because that way you can try out different scents before you purchase the bigger and more expensive jar.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Now, for the tart you simply cut a piece out of it and place it on top of a wax melt warmer, so it melts (duh). You only need a little piece at a time, because it lasts quite a while and gives off a strong enough scent too. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong></strong></span> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>Snow in Love: </strong><span style="color: black;"><em>"Fall in love with this delightful blend of creamy, comforting woods and wintry powder freshness."</em></span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">This is this tart I tried out first, as you can see from the picture above. And it is delish. It is not sweet or flowery, but has a very special smell, which I can't really describe. I guess the descriptions is accurate in saying it's creamy and wintry. Basically, you have to smell it to understand. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>Christmas Cookie: </strong><span style="color: black;"><em>"Buttery rich, vanilla scented, holiday sugar cookies."</em></span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">O MY GOD. Cookies cookies cookies. It definitely has a buttery sweet smell. A bit like dough. If you don't like heavy food scents, this might be too strong of a food scent for you. But if you do like food scents, get 10.</span> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong></strong></span> </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Christmas Rose:</span></strong> <em>"Christmas memories bloom in the authentic perfume of delicate rose petals with a hint of pine."</em></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">The only flower scents I really really love are those of Rose and Jasmine. I can't say anything else but that this rose scent is exactly how I want it. It is soft and not overpowering in any way. I don't smell the pine though.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Candy Cane Lane:</span></strong> <em>"A favorite holiday place, where delicious dreams are made, with tingly peppermint, sweet cookies and creamy vanilla icing."</em></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">This tart smells like something I've smelled at <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">LUSH</span></strong>, but I can't put my finger on what exactly it is. It is a very different scent. It has a freshness, because of the peppermint, but you definitely smell the candy as well. I'm not sure if I would like my whole house to smell like this forever though. </span></div>

<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I definitely like Snowflake Cookie the most, because it is so <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">SWEET</span></strong>. I couldn't describe the smell any better than the description does. And besides that, I love the pink color and the label on the jar. I would buy it only for that reason <3</span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">When I see <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">HOURGLASS</span></strong> at <a href="http://www.sephora.com/veil-mineral-primer-P210575?skuId=1319193" target="_blank">Sephora</a>, I just want to grab everything and go. I love their advertising and the way the products are packaged. However, I had never actually tried a product. About 2 months ago I ordered the <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Veil Mineral Primer with SPF15</span></strong>. Does it do anything for me? Is it as good as it looks and promises? Here's the verdict...</span> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<a name='more'></a><span style="font-family: Verdana;">I ordered the Veil Mineral Primer from </span><a href="http://sephora.com/"><span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana;">Sephora.com</span></a><span style="font-family: Verdana;">, where you can choose from two sizes: 1 oz. which is $52 and 0.33 oz. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The <span style="color: #ea9999;"><strong>HOURGLASS</strong></span> promise: <em>'This clean, satin-finish formula helps keep makeup looking fresh and prevents fading. Veil Mineral Primer also absorbs excess oils and minimizes the appearance of pores by evenly distributing light to help hide and soften skin imperfections and fine lines.'.... </em>sounds amazing!</span></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">
</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Now. First off, I like the tiny matte glass bottle that this primer comes in. It's cute and has a <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">luxurious feel</span></strong>. Secondly, the <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">texture</span></strong> of the primer is very nice. It has a lotion like consistency (a bit runny) that is easy to apply and not greasy. It has a little bit of a blue tone to it, but you don't see that once you have applied the primer. The smell is very nice and clean. </span><br />

<br />
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>The verdict:</strong></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I only need one pump to cover my whole face. That's good, because with this price you don't want to be repurchasing every month. </span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The primer makes my face feel <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">super duper smooth</span></strong>, as it is supposed to do. Applying make-up is easier and I also feel that it definitely prevents my skin from getting oily throughout the day. However, my make-up doesn't necessarily last longer with this primer. It works as good as any other primer would.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Generally, I am satisfied with this primer. N</span><span style="font-family: Verdana;">ow, maybe 'satisfied' doesn't really cut it for the price you pay, but i</span><span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Verdana;">f you are very specific about what ingredients you want and don't want to use on your skin (like me), this product is for you. If you don't or if you just don't have the money to spend.. there are plenty good primers out there that achieve the same effect for your make-up. </span></span><br />
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br />
<span style="color: black;"></span> </span><span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>Like:</strong></span><br />
<ul>
<li><span style="color: black; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Packaging</span></li>
<li><span style="color: black; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Consistency</span></li>
<li><span style="color: black; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">It has Mineral SPF15</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Silky Smooth</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Free of Perfume/Oil/Parabens/Sulfates/Phthalates etc. etc.</span></li>
</ul>
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>Don't like:</strong></span><br />
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">THE PRICE ... it's just too much</span></li>

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: xx-small;">None of these pictures are mine. All of them are posts from pinterest.com</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"><strong>1.</strong> Get yourself some <a href="http://www.lush.co.uk/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #e06666;"><strong>LUSH</strong></span></a><span style="color: #e06666;"><strong> Christmas Products</strong></span>. The smell will put you straight in the right mood. My favorites from the Christmas Collection are: Butterbear, Yog Nog soap and Snowcake soap. I especially love Snowcake, because it smells like marzipan. Yum!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"></span> </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"><strong>2.</strong> Drink some <strong><span style="color: #e06666;">Hot Chocolate</span></strong> with Whip Cream. Loads of Whip Cream. </span></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"><strong>3.</strong> <span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">This is THE time to buy those scented candles you've been eyeing. My favorite candles are from Diptique, Rituals and Yankee Candle. I will put up my choice of Christmas Candles from <a href="http://www.yankeecandle.com/" target="_blank"><strong><span style="color: #e06666;">Yankee Candle</span></strong></a> soon! My fave: <strong><span style="color: #e06666;">Snowflake Cookie.</span></strong></span></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">
</span><br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">
</span><div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"><strong>4.</strong> Go to <strong><span style="color: #e06666;">Starbucks</span></strong> and pick one of their Chrismas drinks: in Holland we have the Gingerbread Latte, Honey&Almond Hot Chocolate and Toffee Nut Latte. I don't really need to explain why you should order one of those right?</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<strong>5.</strong> Wear some cozy soft socks and <strong><span style="color: #e06666;">pajamas</span></strong>. I like silly pajamas that have stars on them or bunnies. My favorite pyjamas at the moment are from <a href="http://www.primark.com/" target="_blank"><strong><span style="color: #e06666;">Primark</span></strong></a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
</span><br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>6.</strong> Eat some <span style="color: #e06666;"><strong>Oliebollen</strong></span>! Now, this is something Dutch, but I know that in general people know what 'fritters' are. Well, these are kind of like <strong><span style="color: #e06666;">apple fritters</span></strong>, made of dough and with raisins.. we put a lot of icing sugar on them and eat them leading up to Christmas and New Years. I just ate one with Nutella. Shouldn't make that a habit.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"></span> </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"><strong>7.</strong> Buy some colorful <strong><span style="color: #e06666;">Christmas Candy</span></strong> or decorate your own. I love a little <strong><span style="color: #e06666;">Gingerbread House</span></strong>, but we don't really have those i</span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">n Holland, so I might make one myself this Christmas. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"></span> </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"><strong>8.</strong> <strong><span style="color: #e06666;">HBO</span></strong> (<span style="font-size: xx-small;">or netflix</span>) literally keeps me occupied for hours and hours. After watching all 'Orange is the New Black' episodes, I am now hooked on <strong><span style="color: #e06666;">'Girls'</span></strong>. I love sitting in my pajamas and watching this show all day long.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"></span> </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"><strong>9.</strong> Take a walk to see the <strong><span style="color: #e06666;">Christmas Lighting</span></strong> outside (especially when there is snow) and think about all those families sitting in front of their fireplace and drinking hot chocolate. Obviously, this doesn't really happen, but I like to think it does. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"></span> </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"><strong>10.</strong> Put some <strong><span style="color: #e06666;">GLITTER</span></strong> on those <strong><span style="color: #e06666;">nails</span></strong>. In my previous post I showed you the Essence Special Effect Topper in 101 Dalmatians, but they have many more colors that are way more glittery and christmassy. </span></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>11.</strong> Set up your <strong><span style="color: #e06666;">Christmas Tree</span></strong> and decorate it. <span style="font-size: xx-small;">& forget about having to put it away again</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: xx-small;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>12</strong></span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>.</strong> Catch up on your <strong><span style="color: #e06666;">reading</span></strong>, you can't (won't) go outside anyway, so you might as well take the time to increase your knowledge or jump into a fictional world. A book that's waiting for me to read it is<strong><span style="color: #e06666;"> 'Inferno'</span></strong> by Dan Brown.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>13.</strong> <strong><span style="color: #e06666;">Gift wrapping</span></strong>!! I love gift wrapping and I will be puting up a post soon on how to DIY a bit with your Christmas gift wrapping :-). There's just something comforting about it.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"><strong>14.</strong> Buy some <strong><span style="color: #e06666;">Berry Lipstick</span></strong> and look fancy all winter, no matter how pale the rest of your face looks. I love INGLOT nr. 294 or YSL Rouge Pur Couture nr. 54.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>15.</strong> <strong><span style="color: #e06666;">LOVE.</span></strong> The holidays make sure that you see your friends/family <em>&other loved ones</em> more and do something special for them. <span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Essence is a <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">low budget</span></strong> brand that does not test on animals and is available in many countries all over the world. I like their glittery Special Effect Toppers, especially when we're getting closer to the Holidays. </span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">For this look I used the <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">101 Dalmatians</span></strong> topper. This is not a new topper, but as it is a budget product it is always good to shed a light on it. Not everyone is able to buy expensive nailpolish or finds that its worth the money... but everyone deserves pretty nails.</span><br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Now, I am one of those people that thinks nailpolish is not worth the money. Maybe it's because I am just really bad at keeping my nails pretty. I break, chip or ruin them in any other way possible, whenever I can. So buying expensive nailpolish just seems like a wast of money to me. However.. I try my best ...</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">For this look I used Special Effect Topper by Essence in <em><strong>101 Dalmatians</strong></em> and <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Neo Whimsical</span></strong> by Essie. </span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="color: #e06666;"></span></strong></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="color: #e06666;">How to do it:</span></strong> </span><br />
<ol>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Apply any base coat </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">(optional) I use the Jessica Quick Dry 60 Second Drying oil in between, because I don't have the patience to sit and let my nailpolish dry (or to apply it at all for that matter).</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Apply any kind of color nailpolish you like. I applied two layers of Essie's <span style="color: #ea9999;"><strong>Neo Whimsical</strong></span>.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Apply the <strong>101 Dalmatians</strong> topcoat. Again I apply '60 second dry' to have it dry quick. I only applied one layer of top coat. If you want more black and white dots you can apply more layers. </span></li>
</ol>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">In the US you can buy Essence online through Ulta.com or in Walgreens and drugstores. In Holland you can also find Essence in drugstores like Kruidvat and Etos. To find a store near you check out this <a href="http://www.essence.eu/essenceworld/index.php" target="_blank">website</a>. </span>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6440045652683795549.post-91341836779946656832014-11-17T10:07:00.002-08:002014-12-01T10:13:37.873-08:00Store: Tiger<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="color: black; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I'm this kind of person that brings tons of different foods to school, work, the gym or anywhere else... so this lunchbox is really really handy. <iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/gbnSvwXUJg8" width="560"></iframe></center>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Sure you don't want to look boring for all the Christmas parties that are coming, so take this tutorial and run. <strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Ombré</span> <span style="color: #e06666;">lips</span></strong>, where different colors fade into each other, have been a trend for a while now. Although it sounds really difficult, it's not. All you need is (<em>at least</em>) two<strong><span style="color: #ea9999;"> </span><span style="color: #a64d79;">lipsticks</span></strong>, that differ in color and a brush (<em>or liner if you want</em>). </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Read on for written instructions...</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">Pick at least 2 different colored lipsticks. You can basically blend anything together that you like, although it works best with colors that are fairly close to each other, like red/pink, brown-ish/amber-ish... like that. I used MAC Saint Germain, which is a super pink color <em>& </em>INGLOT nr. 294. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Step 1:</span></strong> </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><em>Prime!</em> Make sure your lips are dry and smooth. You want to apply a lip primer or make them matte by applying some concealer (that is what I did). </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="color: #ea9999;"><strong>Step 2:</strong></span> </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Apply lipstick to your lip line, by following the line with your brush (<em>or lipliner if you like</em>!) and the darker color lipstick. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Step 3:</span></strong> </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Drag lipstick from the corners of your mouth to the inside of your lips, so that only the middle is left without color.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="color: #ea9999;"><strong>Step 4:</strong></span> </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Apply the second color lipstick in the middle of your lips. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<strong><span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Step 5:</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Diffuse lines with your brush, so that it looks like the color is fading.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<strong><span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Step 6: (optional)</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Use lip balm if you want it to be more shiny / Done!</span>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6440045652683795549.post-73792901856394715122014-11-06T07:02:00.001-08:002014-12-01T10:19:17.035-08:00Review: WEN Cleansing Conditioner by Chaz Dean<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5KzBRWr6e6-tZFdKPs5-6egJ-T9iydhLjKOLA_BRKp3Rqv8ESaiJ71K2T8dRUGE_QMDZTI0zGqOxHJWqBmlNNnHSlr88z-PJHb-tnYELQRQooaWY_o1nRNGoGJwl2WOiBnY4pe9jPGrc/s1600/WEN.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5KzBRWr6e6-tZFdKPs5-6egJ-T9iydhLjKOLA_BRKp3Rqv8ESaiJ71K2T8dRUGE_QMDZTI0zGqOxHJWqBmlNNnHSlr88z-PJHb-tnYELQRQooaWY_o1nRNGoGJwl2WOiBnY4pe9jPGrc/s1600/WEN.jpg" height="420" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I first saw WEN in a tv-commercial, when I was in New York. It promised to be a 5-in-1 product to use as shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, detangler and leave-in-conditioner. Holy Moly.. I thought: if that's true, my life is gonna be a lot easier. I didn't buy it, until I walked into a Sephora last summer & I couldn't get around it anymore. Promising silky smooth, nourished & shiny hair, I had to get it. What's the verdict??</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">WEN is a hair product designed by Chaz Dean, a stylist in Los Angeles. As the website says it contains the following important ingredients: </span><br />
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>Glycerin:</strong> A humectant that provides moisturizing benefits to the hair.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>Chamomile Extract:</strong> Used for its soothing and calming properties.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>Wild Cherry Bark:</strong> Formulated to help condition the hair.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>Rosemary Extract:</strong> Designed to soothe hair.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><strong>Panthenol:</strong> Designed to help strengthen hair and restore resilience.</span></li>
</ul>
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><strong>The verdict...</strong></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I'll just cut right to the chase: <em>I don't like it</em>. I have been using WEN since the summer, so that's quite a while. I thought: maybe I just have to get used to it and maybe my hair has to get used to it too. But no, nothing changed.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I purchased the Sweet Almond Mint version, which..... isn't quite the smell I want to smell all day. It's a little weird. Not gross, but not something I want to smell every few days. It's a bit too much weirdness for my liking. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"><em>Besides that...</em></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">it makes my hair super duper greasy. When I use it as a conditioner it is sort of okay, but if I use it as a shampoo and then again as conditioner (that's what you're supposed to do.. use it as both), I can barely work with my hair. It gets really rough, which isn't that bad, because it adds some volume, but it get so greasy that I would have to wash it every day. Too bad, I had high hopes for this product. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><strong>Like:</strong></span><br />
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Natural Ingredients: no harsh ingredients which is always good</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The Packaging: I love that it is such a big bottle and it has a pump.</span></li>
</ul>
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><strong>Don't like:</strong></span><br />
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The Price: overpriced of course. </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The smell: almond and mint is not the best combo.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Greasy hair: just.. no. </span></li>
</ul>

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I hope one day I will be in the US to celebrate Halloween and get my make-up game going. This was me experimenting.. It's a quick and easy Halloween look that you can do with your regular make-up produts, so you don't have to go out and buy a <em>sh#tload</em> of new stuff.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"></span><br />
<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><strong><em>How to do it:</em></strong></span> <br />
<ol>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Apply your make-up as normal, but use just a little more concealer than usual, so your skin looks lighter. </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Make sure you put the concealer on your lips as well to make them match your skin. </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Powderrrr </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I used a blush that looks kind of <em>'death-ish'</em>. Obviously if you use pink or peach it's going to look cute instead of scary. </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Apply black eyeshadow as if you're doing a smokey eye </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Apply some pink-ish eyeshadow to the corners of your eye. </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Apply some eyeliner and use that same eyeliner to make strikes across your eye and chin (I used a Zoeve eyeliner brush). </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Apply a dark lipstick and mix it with some black eyeliner/or a darker color lipstick. I left my upper lip blank. </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Apply some more black eyeshadow over the strikes and play around with some black/pink/white eyeshadow around your eyes </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">White mascara </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">White lenses </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">End up with this. See.. easy.</span><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span></li>

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">How cute? I love polkadots & I certainly love Burgundy and Lilac.. mix the two together and it's just awesomeness. It only took me 5 minutes to do, so no excuses to walk around with boring nails. Would you like to know how I did this and which brands & colors I used? Read onnnnn....</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I used two colors: Essie in the color <em><span style="color: #b4a7d6;"><strong>Lilacism</strong></span></em> & Inglot Nail Enamel in the color <span style="color: #741b47;"><strong><em>706 </em></strong>(such a pity that it doesn't have a cute name)</span>. The Inglot color is such a great color for fall, because it's almost burgundy <em>& burgundy is HOT this fall</em>. However, it is leaning towards purple, which makes it match perfectly with the lilac polish.</span><br />

<span style="color: #ea9999; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><em><u>How to do it:</u></em></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Apply one layer or two as you please of whichever color you like. I applied Jessics Quick Dry 60 Second Drying after applying the first layer of nailpolish. This made it dry <em>super</em>quick, so I was able to apply the polkadots straight away. Just make little dots with the top of your nailpolish brush. Push harder if you want bigger dots and not so hard if you want smaller dots (<em>duh!</em>). It literally took me about 5 minutes to do this!! It's fun and quick <em>& </em>you can do it with any color you like. WIN!</span><br />
