BIO

I'm Kim, beauty- & lifestyle blogger from Rotterdam in Holland (you know..where Amsterdam is).

I have a bachelor's degree in Arabic Language & Culture and am currently finishing my master's degree in Media & Journalism. In between, I worked as a flight attendant for Emirates Airlines, which means that I got to live in Dubai and fly around the world for a year! Some of the most beautiful places I visited are Cape Town, the Maldives, Mauritius and Japan.

Basically, I love exploring different cultures (read: travelling & eating food I don't know) and anything that has to do with being creative in words or images. 

BLOGGING

After a minor in Journalism, I interned with a Dutch media company in 2011. This resulted in a trip to New York and a blogging gig for Cosmogirl! Following, I started my own blog in 2011. I haven't been set on a specific topic for my blog. One week it is a beauty blog and the next it is a fitness blog. This basically describes my personality. 

My blog is called Learntheheartway.com, because I am a person that believes in following your heart. I believe that your heart can bring you to places, where your mind might never take you. This means: putting myself in ridiculous, out of my comfort zone situations, where I can learn lessons & be amazed by life. Sometimes that's bad and sometimes that's good. With this blog, I will take you into my world, where doing what my heart tells me to and writing about what I love is key.  

I LOVE

If I could do anything I wanted with my life I would be acting, traveling  writing, reading, cooking, eating, sitting at the beach and watch HBO series all day.
